The Port of Narva-Jõesuu has a new website, which makes information about the port and the region clearer, more convenient and more accessible. The redesigned website brings together in one place important information about the port and its neighbouring ports, provides an overview of services and brings practical information to the user in a logical and easy-to-find format.
The need for a new website was due to the fact that the previous solution no longer supported well enough the comprehensive presentation of the port’s development, services and regional information. The updated web will help visitors to find what they are looking for more quickly – be it port information, services, contacts, news, projects or events. Key sub-pages have also been given a higher profile to ensure that all the latest and relevant information is more visible to the user.
An important innovation is the possibility of online booking, which will make the use of port services more convenient and modern. The new web has also been designed to be mobile-friendly, so that the information you need is easily accessible on your phone or tablet. Attention has also been paid to better findability in search engines and AI systems, so that information about the Port of Narva-Jõesuu reaches both local and distant visitors more easily.
In addition to practical usability, the new website also supports the broader goal of presenting Narva-Jõesuu port and the region as a whole. In the future, it is planned to expand the web to multilingual and open it in 3-4 languages to make the information available to an even wider audience. The new njsadam.ee is thus an important step towards a more visible, user-friendly and modern port environment.
The website was created in the framework of the project “Development of the waterways network and tourism business in the Ida-Viru region”. The project is financed by the European Union Cohesion Policy funds through the measure “Attractive regional business and living environment” and the support measure for the implementation of regional development strategies.
