The Narva-Jõesuu Yacht Club harbour is located directly on the banks of the Narva River, on Kalda Street, in a historic area where the sea and the river meet. It is a cosy small harbour managed by the NGO Narva-Jõesuu Yacht Club, a community-based organisation that brings together local boat owners and sailing enthusiasts.
The harbour serves small vessels and is open during the navigation period from 1 May to 30 October. It does not offer harbour services for a fee – the harbour functions primarily as a common club for its members, where maritime culture, friendship and cooperation are valued. Services are provided only to members of the yacht club, who are provided with mooring facilities, parking, toilets and winter storage.
The Narva-Jõesuu Yachting Club harbour is suitable for small vessels up to 24 metres in length , 4 metres in width and 2 metres in draught . The depth of the quay reaches 2.5 metres in places and the harbour has two fixed quays – 40 metres and 18 metres long. The total area of the port is approximately 27 000 m², which will allow for future expansion of activities and infrastructure improvements.
The harbour is located at coordinates 59° 27′ 35,323″ N ; 28° 03′ 23,571″ E and is part of the navigable waterway of the Narva River. It provides safe access to the wider parts of the river and a link to the Gulf of Finland.
The harbour is home to local sailors who keep alive the maritime traditions of Narva-Jõesuu and contribute to the development of water tourism and leisure activities in the region. Harbour Master Tarmo Kalme coordinates the day-to-day operations of the harbour and ensures that everything runs safely and in a clubby spirit.
